What Makes GYE Different

Bridging Youth Potential and Employment Opportunities.

Global Youth Employment Inc. (GYE) is an American nonprofit operating in Côte d'Ivoire helping youth 18 to 35 years old access to job opportunities, retain their job, and progress in their professional career.
Global Youth Employment Inc. (GYE) was founded in 2024 to tackle one of Africa’s greatest challenges: youth unemployment. We equip young men and women with practical skills, professional exposure, mentorship, and pathways into real jobs.

Max Fossouo: Founder, President & Board Chairman
Max is the Founder and President of Global Youth Employment (GYE). With 20 years of experience in sales leadership across Africa and abroad, he brings expertise in team leadership, training development, and sales. Passionate about empowering youth, Max supports GYE’s mission to bridge the gap between education and employment across Africa. Through his role on the board, he helps guide strategy, build partnerships, and amplify GYE’s impact.

Kyle Edquist, Board Member
Kyle currently serves as Talent Director at Rippleworks. With 11 years of experience in recruitment and talent development, he brings expertise in social venture scaling, professional networking, and program management. Passionate about social impact projects, Kyle supports GYE’s mission through his role on the board, he helps guide strategic decision-making and programs management.

Assana Alio, Board Member
Assana Alio is the Country Representative at GGGI and Founder of Bridge Konekt. With over 10 years of experience as an International Affairs professional, Assana holds an extensive experience from the African Development Bank, United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs and U.S Bank and investment firms. As GYE Board Member, Assana helps guide our women initiatives strategy and our approach to participate in the UN SDG 5, 8, 10.

Christian Nouboue, Board Member
Christian Nouboue is a graduate from Ecole Centrale de Paris. Currently serving as Group Deputy Managing Director International at CMGP CAS, Christian is passionate about comprehensive solutions to solve African challenges. With more than 10 years at top executive positions within international organisation leading African markets, Christian as GYE Board Member helps in financial strategic decisions for GYE's financial sustainable growth and impact.
